Founder & Programme Director, Boy II Man
I founded Boy II Man with a simple but powerful belief: every boy deserves guidance, positive role models, and the opportunity to become the best version of himself.
For over a decade, I have dedicated my career to supporting young people through education, mentorship, and personal development. Throughout my journey as a teacher, Head of Department, youth mentor, and father, I have seen first-hand the challenges many boys face as they navigate identity, confidence, mental wellbeing, peer pressure, and the transition into manhood.
Too often, boys are expected to figure things out on their own. Boy II Man was created to change that.
My Background
I bring more than fifteen years of experience working with young people across mainstream education, alternative provision, and community settings.
As a qualified teacher and former Head of Department, I have led departments, developed curriculum programmes, and supported students from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. Much of my career has been spent working with young people facing significant barriers, including disengagement from education, behavioural challenges, low self-esteem, and social and emotional difficulties.
This experience has given me a deep understanding of the realities many boys face today and the importance of providing support that is both relatable and impactful.
Why Boy II Man Matters To Me
As a father of boys, the mission of Boy II Man is deeply personal.
I understand the responsibility of helping young boys grow into confident, respectful, emotionally aware, and purpose-driven men. I also understand the challenges they face in a world that often provides more confusion than guidance.
Boy II Man was created to provide boys with the support, encouragement, accountability, and mentorship they need during some of the most important years of their lives.
This is more than a programme.
