Our Story
Boy II Man is dedicated to providing educational, musical, and mental health services to support young boys transitioning into manhood. Founded by a passionate father, educator and musician, we focus on empowering boys through tailored programmes that nurture their development in a holistic way.
Why I Founded Boy II Man
Boy II Man was born from a passion to address the challenges facing young boys in today's society. Throughout my years working in education, I witnessed first-hand the growing need for positive male guidance, emotional support, and purposeful mentorship. Too many boys are navigating critical stages of their development without the tools, role models, or safe spaces needed to understand who they are and who they can become. I founded Boy II Man to help bridge that gap. As a father, educator, musician and mentor, I understand the importance of guiding boys beyond academic success. Young people need support with their confidence, identity, emotional wellbeing, decision-making, and understanding their place within the world around them. Boy II Man was created to provide that guidance and help boys develop into responsible, resilient, and purpose-driven young men.
My Experience
I bring over a decade of experience working with young people across a range of educational settings. As a qualified teacher and former Head of Department, I have spent more than fifteen years supporting students from diverse backgrounds, including those facing significant personal, behavioural, and social challenges. My career has included leadership roles within both mainstream education and alternative provision, where I have worked closely with young people at risk of exclusion, disengagement, and underachievement. Beyond the classroom, I have mentored countless young people, helping them develop confidence, self-belief, emotional awareness, and positive aspirations for the future. My work has always centred on building meaningful relationships, creating trust, and empowering young people to recognise their potential. As a youth practitioner, educator, and community advocate, I understand the unique challenges many boys face today and the importance of providing consistent guidance, accountability, and encouragement throughout their journey into adulthood.

Our vision is to create a generation of confident, emotionally aware, and purpose-driven young men who positively contribute to their families, schools, workplaces, and communities. Boy II Man exists to help boys navigate one of the most important transitions of their lives - the journey from boyhood to manhood. Through engaging workshops, mentorship, personal development activities, and creative expression, we equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to thrive. We envision a future where boys are empowered to make positive choices, build healthy relationships, communicate effectively, manage their emotions, and lead with integrity.
